With a population of 15,000 residents, Goshen Township is located northeast of Cincinnati close to Loveland and Milford in Clermont County. The township was established in 1799 by settlers after the American Revolutionary War. By the 1920s, Goshen Township had a drive-in movie theater, bowling alley and roller-skating rink as well as several businesses. Today, the community is known for being a rural, equine-friendly place to live. Residents enjoy John Heisler Park and Recreation for summer softball, fast pitch and knothole league games. Eagles Nest Golf Course is open to the public with its 18 holes. Hickory Woods Golf Course is another public course that is challenging for all levels of play. The Oasis Golf Club is a private club and boasts an Arnold Palmer-designed course. For those who enjoy the thrill of rollercoasters, Kings Island is a short drive away in Mason, Ohio. Find acres of rides and amusements there during the warmer months. Goshen offers several local places to have a meal. Lori’s American Grille features burgers, wings and other appetizers.
